Over the last week there has been a lot of activity at the new house!
Friday - October 19, 2012: The flags are out! The lot is pinned and permits posted. What says it's a "touchdown".
Saturday - October 27, 2012: The foundation is in! It was thrilling to see something solid in place. Looks small on the lot, which I guess is a good thing. Plenty of land left for outdoor living. Disappointed because the contractor used the wrong color mortar. We picked gray, but they've used brown. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come. They have promised to make up for the mistake.

Thursday - November 1, 2012: The walls are going up...OMGosh!!!!! I can hardly contain my excitement... Wyatt and I danced around celebrating as John looked on with a laugh (Ava sleeping in the truck - sure she's excited too). The contractor has made up for the mortar mistake. They are giving us an extra window on the back of the house. I'm very excited about this because we'll have more natural light coming in and we'll be able to see more of the beautiful woods behind us.
